All for charity…

What a storming evening we had down at Bar XLR last night! Raising money for charity — in this case the Princess Alice Hospice — is a lot of fun when it involves four bands, an audience of somewhere around a hundred, and a raffle with a bunch of excellent prizes.

The evening started off with a set from The Very Never — otherwise known as tutors Toy and Robin, from Realistic Rock — and they were followed by us, Retrace and finally Dirty Little Secret. Everyone seemed to have a good time — we certainly did, and it was terrific that so many people had made it down to see us.

And it’s just possible there may be a band paintballing session in our future, given what one of our number won in the raffle…

(Edit to add: Apparently the final total raised was a whopping £869.64! Well done to Shani, who organised it.)
