There are no prizes for guessing where we played last week…

“Led by front woman Mel Harper, Feature Creep made their central London debut in front of a sell out crowd at the London Transport Museum last week. A rollicking set driven by Andy’s thumping drums started with Lonely Boy, Light My Fire and 20th Century Boy and soon had the audience dancing in the aisles and singing along. Can’t Stand Losing You and the obscure but gutsy Garbage classic Why Do You Love Me? followed in quick succession, while I Fought The Law featured a rousing dual (or is that duel) guitar solo featuring Joe and Sheila. A grunged up Baby One More Time tipped a hat to the pop genius of Britney Spears while allowing Vernon to indulge in some unusual backing vocals, while the ever green Ash classic Burn Baby Burn celebrated their 20th anniversary as a band [Ash's, not Feature Creep's! -- ed]. London Calling just had to be rolled out given the venue, with Joe then performing his searing solos during Real Wild Child. A guitar-driven mock synth rhythm led into Girls & Boys, featuring the fantastic bass skills of Graham, with even the band getting most of the Girls and Boys chants in the right order. The Foos’ Walk and then a rocking version of the Human League’s Don’t You Want Me? led in to a riotous singalong version of Common People. Great night, great fun.”
