What a stupidly small world it is….
A mail turned up the other day from Mel’s friend Arshad, occasional DJ, music promoter, and generally all around Good Bloke. This is what it said:
“I had quite a strange experience last weekend while DJing in east London.
I was talking to a guy I had not met before who told me about a “really good covers band called Feature Creep”. He saw you guys at (I think) the London Transport Museum a cuppla years ago.”
It’s amazing what conversations one can have at 6am after a night of partying. Paul, if you’re out there — we’re delighted you remember us, and even more delighted to hear that you’re promoting us 😉 Say hello if you see us again; we owe you a drink…
